Top-Up Information
Top-Up Information
The Top-Up Information setting allows you to define a custom message that explains how consumers should add money to their account.
This text is shown directly to consumers when:
- They click Top Up
- They receive a low balance warning and are prompted to add funds
How It Works
You can enter a short, free-text instruction (up to 500 characters) describing your team’s top-up process.
This message is informational only and does not process payments automatically.
What to Include
Use this field to describe everything consumers need to know about topping up, such as:
- Where to transfer the money (bank details, PayPal, etc.)
- Whether cash can be deposited in a safe or lock box
- Any reference or note they should include with a transfer
- Who to contact if there are questions
The content should reflect how your team handles money in real life.
Why This Is Useful
Top-up methods differ between teams. By centralizing this information:
- Consumers always know what to do when their balance is low
- You reduce questions and misunderstandings
- The top-up process stays consistent and transparent
Best Practice
Keep the instructions short, clear, and specific.
If your process changes, you can update the text at any time.
