Reset and Delete
Reset and Delete Settings (Danger Zone)
The Danger Zone contains actions that have permanent and irreversible effects. These options are intended for exceptional cases, such as starting fresh after a test phase or completely shutting down a team.
Only team owners can access these actions.
Team Data Reset
The Team Data Reset allows you to wipe operational data while keeping your team structure intact.
This is useful if you want to restart usage without deleting the team itself.
What Gets Reset
A data reset can remove, in one action:
- Bookkeeping data
- Inventory and stock levels
- Orders and MISC transactions
- Consumer transactions and balances
- Kiosk purchase history
What Stays Untouched
The following are not affected by a data reset:
- Team billing and plan
- Team members and roles
- Team name, logo, and appearance
Retention Options
Before confirming the reset, you can choose what to keep:
- Keep products
- Product catalog and prices are preserved
- Stock levels are reset to zero
- Keep consumers
- Consumer profiles remain active
- All consumer balances are reset to zero
This allows you to start fresh while avoiding re-creating products or consumers.
Delete Team
The Delete Team option permanently removes the entire team.
What This Does
When you delete a team:
- All team data is permanently deleted
- Products, consumers, transactions, orders, and bookkeeping are removed
- The action cannot be reversed
This should only be used if the team is no longer needed.
Important Notes
- These actions are irreversible
- Always double-check retention settings before confirming
- Consider exporting or reviewing data before performing a reset or deletion
