Consumers
Creating Consumers
In Tapper, the members of your team or collective are called Consumers.
Each consumer represents one person who can take drinks or food and book them through the kiosk.
Creating a Consumer
Creating a consumer is simple and requires only basic information:
- First name
- Last name
When creating a consumer, you can also:
- Set an initial account balance, now or later.
Once saved, the consumer is immediately available in the kiosk (if set to active).
Managing Consumers
After a consumer has been created, you can manage and update their profile at any time.
You can:
- Edit the consumer’s name
- Update or correct the account balance
- Set the consumer as active or inactive
- Review and approve or deny top-up requests
- View all transactions related to the consumer
- Archive the consumer
Active, Inactive, and Archived Consumers
- Active consumers appear in the kiosk and can book items
- Inactive consumers are hidden from the kiosk but remain in the system
- Archived consumers are removed from daily use and kept for record-keeping
Archived consumers do not count toward your consumer limit.
Consumer Limits and Plans
The number of consumers you can create depends on your team’s plan:
- 3 consumers – free plan (ideal for testing)
- 20, 50, 100, or 200 consumers – available for larger teams and collectives
You can upgrade your plan at any time as your team grows.
